1. Scope of Services

B Shore Fire provides fire hydrant testing, reporting, and related services in accordance with AS1851 and other relevant standards. These Terms & Conditions apply to all work carried out by B Shore Fire unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Booking and Scheduling

All jobs are scheduled in advance and may be subject to change depending on access, safety conditions, and availability. Clients must provide clear and safe access to all required test points. If access is not available, additional charges may apply for return visits. A minimum call-out fee of $250+GST applies to all scheduled jobs where access wasn’t available unless a prior agreement is in place.

3. Site Access and Induction

It is the responsibility of the client to advise of any induction requirements or site-specific safety policies before scheduled attendance. Delays due to unnotified inductions may incur additional fees.

4. Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours’ written notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations within this period may incur a call-out fee.

5. Reporting and Compliance

Test reports are delivered in accordance with the National Construction Code and Australian Standards. Any urgent compliance issues identified will be communicated immediately to the client.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due within 28 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
Late payments may attract:

  • Reasonable costs associated with the recovery of overdue amounts
  • Interest at 10% per annum, calculated daily on overdue balances
  • B Shore Fire reserves the right to suspend or withhold services for unpaid accounts.

7. Liability

B Shore Fire is not liable for delays, access issues, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control. Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the services provided unless otherwise required by law. B Shore Fire holds public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

8. Hydrostatic Testing Disclaimer

Hydrostatic testing is performed in accordance with AS1851 and carries inherent risks due to the potential deterioration of system components. B Shore Fire is not liable for any damage, loss, or system failure arising from the test.

9. Variations

If any variation is required to the scope of work after commencement (e.g. additional hydrants, complex site access), a revised quotation may be issued and must be approved by the client prior to continuation.

10. Acceptance of Terms

Engaging B Shore Fire for any service constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
